REDONDO BEACH, Calif., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Radlink, Inc., a fast-growing company that has emerged as an innovative provider of medical imaging systems to healthcare providers, moved into new Redondo Beach headquarters in response to the company’s growth.
The new Radlink office and warehouse is located at 2400 Marine Avenue. Radlink’s headquarters now encompass more than 30,000 square feet and features two conference rooms, and an audio visual training room that can hold up to 45 people. The visual training room will be used to teach Radlink dealers how to service their products. Today, Radlink has 40 employees, with plans to further grow to accommodate the increase in Radlink business.
“This is an exciting growth time for Radlink,” said Tom Hacking, chairman and CEO. “Within the next year, we expect our sales to grow exponentially and the new building will provide the infrastructure we need to expand.”
Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it has granted clearance to Radlink to proceed with the sale and distribution of its breakthrough CR Pro machine.
CR Pro utilizes Radlink’s sealed fiber-optic laser technology (patent pending) to deliver high-resolution, diagnostic-quality images that provide long-term image quality. The true breakthrough of CR Pro is that it is built on a platform that allows it to be sold at a substantially lower cost than all of its competitors, making computed radiography systems available to healthcare providers who have previously been unable to afford the technology.
The computed radiography system has been in development for two years and is superior to the existing standard because it provides enhanced resolution to the scanned image and as a result x-rays can be viewed more clearly.
Radlink is a Redondo Beach-based company that provides a wide range of medical film-to-digital image conversion, storage and delivery services to healthcare providers. The company markets its products and services to customers involved in medical film diagnostics worldwide, including radiology groups, physicians, diagnostic imaging centers, hospitals and health clinics.
