PHOENIX, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Partners Rx Management, LLC has done it again! Another month of sustained cost savings for their clients.
The average annual drug cost trend for all drug utilization by Partners Rx clients during 2004 was 4.5%. During the first six months of 2005 (through June) the trend was a NEGATIVE 2.7%!

"True to that philosophy, the Partners Rx cost trend has been about 50% lower than the usually quoted national trend numbers. Historically, the June 2004 rolling twelve month drug cost trend was 6.25%. Through constant review of cost saving opportunities and a greater emphasis on generic utilization, as of June 2005, the rolling twelve month drug cost trend has plunged to 2.6%. This is well below currently quoted industry trend numbers," Field continued.
