A global medical device company with a location in Fairborn was approved Monday for state assistance for an expansion project that is expected to create nearly 200 new jobs, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority announced.
NuVasive Manufacturing LLC expects to create 195 full-time positions, generating $9.3 million in new annual payroll and retaining $5.4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project at a to-be-determined location.
San Diego-based NuVasive Inc. is considering consolidating its manufacturing operations. Ohio is competing with Texas and Tennessee for the proposed project.
