BAGSVAERD, Denmark & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2006--Novo A/S, the Denmark-based holding company of the Novo Group has further expanded its activities, setting up an office in San Francisco to extend its reach and support venture investments in the North American life science sector. Joining the existing Novo Ventures team will be Heath Lukatch, Ph.D. who will staff the U.S. office with existing partner Jack Beck Nielsen who has relocated from Denmark. The Novo Ventures team is now comprised of six Partners in Copenhagen, one in London and two in San Francisco.
