Cambridge, 4th April 2012 - NoemaLife, the leading European provider of clinical and hospital IT solutions, is setting itself apart in a complex market through a series of successful initiatives over the past six months.
Despite the current economic climate, in 2011 NoemaLife recorded a 13 per cent increase in total consolidated revenues compared with the previous year due to innovative technologies and excellent Customer Service.
In November 2011 NoemaLife acquired a majority stake in the French company Medasys, to become the major player in the healthcare IT industry across Europe.
In March 2012 Medasys, won a major tender worth 30 million euros over 10 years. The contract involves implementing an innovative Electronic Medical Record Management System at the Regional University Hospital Centre of Montpellier (CHRU).
Other significant recent developments include continued global expansion.
In December 2011, a new subsidiary was opened in Santiago de Chile, confirming the choice of Latin America as a strategic market for future business. Although NoemaLife has been operating in Chile through local partnership for some years, the opening of the new subsidiary will allow the Group to facilitate the ambitious goals of the Chilean Government regarding healthcare and to extend NoemaLife’s business reach to the neighbouring Regions.
In January 2012, NoemaLife announced the opening of a new subsidiary in Dubai which will spearhead the company’s operations in the Middle East and North Africa. This comes at a time when the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries present a significant business opportunity for NoemaLife as they face an unprecedented rise in healthcare spending over the next two decades.
An agreement with the Spanish company Dominion, for distribution of NoemaLife’s OncoSys software solution for medical oncology departments, will allow NoemaLife to expand into Spain.
