FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nipro Diagnostics, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of blood glucose monitoring products and supplies for diabetes management, has purchased a new corporate headquarters facility in Fort Lauderdale to house many of the company’s operations. The building, located at 2200 West Cypress Creek Road in Fort Lauderdale, will serve as global headquarters for the executive team, marketing, finance, operations, accounting, R&D, regulatory, and human resources of Nipro Diagnostics. Manufacturing will continue to take place at the company’s facility at NW 55th Court in Fort Lauderdale, purchased in December 2011.
“This new corporate headquarters complex of almost 80,000 square feet, located on seven acres, affords us the space and capabilities to grow our business and keep up with increasing demand for our products,” said Scott Verner, President and CEO of Nipro Diagnostics. “Just as we’re dedicated to providing high quality and affordable diabetes care products, we’re committed to Fort Lauderdale, expanding our operations here and creating new jobs.” It is anticipated that Nipro Diagnostics’ operations will move to the new building in the second quarter of 2012. This is the third building Nipro Diagnostics has acquired in the last six months.
