NHP Declares Quarterly Cash Dividends On Common Stock And Series A And B Preferred Stock

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nationwide Health Properties, Inc.'s Board of Directors declared today a $.37 per share regular dividend on its common stock. The common dividend will be paid on September 3, 2004 to shareholders of record on August 13, 2004.

In addition, Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. also reported that the Board of Directors declared cash dividends of $1.91925 per share on its Series A cumulative step-up REIT preferred stock and $1.9375 per share on its Series B cumulative convertible preferred stock. The Series A dividend will be paid on September 30, 2004 to stockholders of record on September 1, 2004, and the Series B dividend will be paid on September 30, 2004 to stockholders of record on September 15, 2004.
