National Association Of Managed Care Regulators To Hold Annual Conference In Washington, DC, Oct. 18 2004

WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association of Managed Care Regulators (NAMCR) announced today it will hold its 2004 Annual Conference at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC, Oct. 18-20. This year’s conference will provide attendees a forum to meet and discuss state regulatory and legislative challenges in managed care, and to strategize about how best to meet them head on.

“For nearly three decades, the NAMCR Annual Conference has offered attendees an in-depth examination of the challenges we face in regulating the constantly changing managed care environment,” said Jeffrey Martin, president, NAMCR. “This year’s conference will empower attendees to walk away with new ideas and perspectives on topics ranging from consumer directed health to disease management and predictive modeling to medical management regulatory oversight and more.”

Through a mix of guest speakers, panelists and sessions, the NAMCR 2004 Annual Conference is the ideal forum to meet and interact with colleagues to address key regulatory and industry issues. This year’s conference will feature sessions on:

 * Consumer Directed Health Care (CDHC): An exploration of the features of CDHC, variations of these products and how they work, and a discussion of what the future might hold for CDHC.
