Nacalai USA, Inc. to Distribute LifeSensors, Inc. Products in Asian Market SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, USA and MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, September 14, 2009 - Nacalai USA, Inc. has entered into a distribution agreement with LifeSensors, Inc., a Malvern, Pennsylvania-based biotechnology company, for distribution of LifeSensors’ Ubiquitin Proteasome Pathway (UPP) research tools and novel recombinant protein expression technologies in Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
San Diego-based Nacalai USA, Inc. and its parent company Nacalai Tesque, a major Japanese life science research reagent and chemical company headquartered in Kyoto, Japan will handle distribution and service of LifeSensors’ products in these Asian markets. The UPP research tools and novel recombinant protein expression tools are immediately available in these Asian markets through Nacalai USA and Nacalai Tesque.
The agreement was executed in August of 2009 and will allow researchers in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore access to the innovative reagents necessary to facilitate and improve their research and drug discovery efforts.
