TAMPA, Florida February 18, 2011—myMatrixx®, a leading provider of pharmacy management solutions in the workers’ compensation arena, announced today that Michael Geis has joined the company as Director of IT Infrastructure. With more than 15 years of technology leadership in a number of different industries, Mr. Geis brings extensive experience in IT services, security, compliance and infrastructure design to the company.
Previously, Mr. Geis served as Vice President of IS operations at Lifestyle Family Fitness, a fitness club operator with 55 locations and more than 2,700 employees. He was responsible for the company’s IT services, payment card security compliance, corporate network and data center management, as well as new technology design. Mr. Geis also served as IT Services Manager for Quality Distribution, Inc., the largest bulk-transport services company and tank truck network in North America. He played a key role in helping QDI attain compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Mr. Geis earned his MBA from the University of South Florida. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida Southern College.
