TEMPE, Ariz., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With FEMA and other federal, state and local agencies providing aid to Louisiana, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi, health and security assistance provider MedAire, Inc. has set up special assistance capabilities for those affected within the aviation and maritime industries.

The company is making a special telephone number for its Global Response Center available to companies within those industries that are sending people into the region for relief operations. The number will be operated for the duration of the emergency and provide remote emergency medical advice at no cost for people who may become sick or injured during their time in the region.
