EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., June 28, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CIGNA Behavioral Health (CBH) announced today that it has appointed Jeff Miller to the position of eastern region vice president. In this position, he will direct large group and national account sales, health plan sales, external distribution and new business development. The eastern region includes states east of the Mississippi River (excluding Illinois and Wisconsin).

Miller brings a wide range of expertise to his position, including tenure with regional managed health care companies and as a national account manager for United Behavioral Health. He joined CBH in 2000 and has grown sales in his market year-over-year. In his new role, Miller will work to increase the visibility of CBH products and services among large employers, consultants and brokers in the eastern United States. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Richmond and will be based out of Pennsylvania.
