NEW YORK, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Euro RSCG Life, a division of Euro RSCG Worldwide, today announced the creation of a new healthcare advertising agency called Euro RSCG Life Chelsea, and that it has also established Euro RSCG Life MetaMax as a stand-alone, fully-integrated global communications company. Several key employees have been assigned new leadership positions within the company to help drive the agency’s move forward as it continues to roll out its Power of One integration strategy.
Euro RSCG Life Chelsea, formed through the combination of Euro RSCG Life’s Becker and Questar agencies, will service an expansive client roster that includes leading pharmaceutical companies such as Wyeth, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novartis and Johnson & Johnson. Mary Ann Capritti was named Chief Executive Officer of the new company, and Ed Stapor will serve as President. Cary Lemkowitz was named Chief Creative Officer. Euro RSCG Life MetaMax, headed by Doug Burcin, was originally created in 2003 to head the agency’s work on Aventis’ major new diabetes drug Lantus(R). It is a first-of-its kind company and reflects Aventis’ vision of having a single global communications partner across every communications discipline from advertising to public relations and medical education, in every market around the world. MetaMax gained critical mass in 2003 and, as a stand-alone global communications company, will have greater flexibility to pursue additional opportunities in 2004.
