Emerging Health Information Technology, a leading provider of healthcare information solutions for hospitals, integrated delivery networks and medical centers, announces that the company has been selected by Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center to implement electronic prescribing at ten of the hospital’s outpatient sites. The project will help advance Bronx-Lebanon toward its goal of establishing a complete electronic health record system. The electronic prescribing solution, developed by IDX, the Vermont-based healthcare technology provider, will be hosted at Emerging Health’s state-of-the-art Data Management Center in Yonkers, New York. Through Emerging Health’s ability to offer a hosted platform, Bronx-Lebanon will realize the benefits of e-prescribing in less time and at a lower cost. Emerging Health will also provide infrastructure support for the application, including network management and help desk services.
