Currently, students graduating from Tri-C’s Nursing Program are more than 96 percent likely to pass the nursing exam. The nursing program at Tri-C offers students flexibility for taking classes in the day or evening. Along with flexibility, students learn in a new facility with the latest in technology. A new nursing center at the Metropolitan Campus opened last November. The center features two Human Patient Simulators. The computer driven mannequins represent the entire physical characteristics of adult patients and allow for the demonstration of various clinical signs, including breathing, pulses, heart sounds, lung sounds and chest excursion, all similar to human responses.

In 1964, Cuyahoga Community College developed and implemented the first Associate Degree Nursing Program in the state of Ohio and the program admitted 65 students and graduated 37. Today, more than 425 students enroll annually in the Nursing Program. In the past five years, the College has had more than 900 of its registered nursing graduates pass the National Nursing Licensure Examination.
