BOSTON, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Egon Zehnder International, one of the world’s leading executive search firms, announced it has successfully completed a search for Joslin Diabetes Center’s new chief executive officer. Ranch C. Kimball, former Romney Chief Economic Advisor and prominent business leader, will replace the outgoing Ronald Kahn, M.D., on February 1, 2007.

Kimball will act as the seventh president of the Joslin Diabetes Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, one of the oldest and most esteemed centers for the treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The former Economic Advisor is the first non-physician to hold the post of chief executive officer.
