Dr. Tana Goering has joined Pulse Systems, Inc. as Chief Medical Officer and will be based out of their corporate headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Goering will help lead the implementation of EHR products with Pulse customers, particularly in the area of point of care where she was once on the other side of the table as a Pulse client. In addition she will be assisting product development in improving the tools and workflows used in the Pulse system to maximize productivity and patient care outcomes.

Dr. Goering is a native Kansan, born and raised in Scott City. Following graduation from the University of Kansas in 1991 with a BA in Human Biology, she began medical school in 1992 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. Following medical school, Dr. Goering completed her three-year Family Practice residency at the Wesley Family Practice Residency Program in Wichita. She then joined Hillside Medical Office, a group of seven family physicians, to begin private practice, caring for the family from newborns to the elderly, including low risk obstetric care.
Dr. Goering is licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, and Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. She has served as Chair of Credentials and Chair of Family Medicine Section at Wesley Medical Center, and is a clinical instructor with the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. She has served on the Medical Society of Sedgwick County Board of Directors and is currently serving as Vice President.
