Citigate Dewe Rogerson Appoints Katja Stout As A Director In Its Life Sciences Team

London, UK 3 December 2015, Citigate Dewe Rogerson, a leading global communications agency, today announces the appointment of Katja Stout (previously Toon) as a Director in its Life Sciences Team.

Katja is a communications strategist and entrepreneur with 20 years’ international experience in global healthcare and life sciences communications. Previously Managing Director and Founder at Scius Communications, she recently supported Immunocore’s $320 million financing, Europe’s largest ever private round in life sciences. Prior to Scius, Katja was Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Global Product and Portfolio Strategy at AstraZeneca, where she was responsible for global brand communications across all therapy areas and also established Astra Zeneca’s Partnering Communications function. As well as working in-house for several biotech companies and venture capital firms, Katja has extensive agency experience and was a co-founder of Northbank communications, a specialist life sciences communications firm, which was successfully sold to College Hill (now Instinctif Partners).

During her career, Katja has worked on a wide range of communications and investor relations activities, and built an extensive network of industry contacts with pharmaceutical executives, life sciences CEOs, private and public equity investors, analysts and media. She has a Masters degree in Biochemistry from Oxford University and an MBA from Imperial Business School, London.
