Chris Swope Cholewa Joins The American Brain Tumor Association As Chief Advancement Officer

CHICAGO, Nov. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) announced today that Chris Swope Cholewa has joined the organization as Chief Advancement Officer. Cholewa will oversee the organization’s fundraising efforts as well as expansion of the ABTA’s nationwide grassroots volunteer network.

Her professional background and experience in the nonprofit sector includes serving as interim CEO for the Central Brain Tumor Registry of the United States (CBTRUS); executive director for Sharing Connections, a nonprofit with more than 300 volunteers and a $2.5 million budget; director of development and interim executive director for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Illinois Chapter; and director of development for Metropolitan Family Services of Chicago.

Cholewa resides in Lombard, Ill. and currently serves as president of the Lombard Town Centre.
