September 24, 2007 -- Benda reported that a national forum on “Gene Therapy for Tumors” created a record amount of orders for Gendicine®, the company’s gene therapy for cancer. Physicians at the forum placed $3.8 million worth of orders for the drug in one day, exhausting the existing supply. In the first half of 2007, revenues for Gendicine® totaled only $1.5 million.
