German conglomerate Siemens AG's already sizable presence in Massachusetts will grow by several hundred employees with its planned $5.3 billion acquisition of Bayer HealthCare's diagnostics division. As part of the deal, the company also appears set to absorb a planned $100 million expansion project, which is expected to generate dozens more positions.
