ACS And Princeton HealthCare System Announce Five-Year IT Outsourcing Agreement

DALLAS, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., , a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, and Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS), a leading provider of healthcare, announced today that they have expanded and enhanced their successful information technology (IT) relationship. The new five-year agreement is valued at $58 million.

Under the contract, effective October 1, 2005, ACS Healthcare Solutions, a business unit of ACS, will provide application delivery, data center services, disaster recovery, and telecommunications services in addition to the 24/7 help desk, desktop support, and network services they currently provide PHCS. This complete outsourcing solution will expand the capacity and capability that PHCS requires for advanced clinical, revenue cycle, supply chain, and administrative systems -- all in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act for privacy, security, and communications.
