WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Merck & Co., Inc. today announced financial results for the second quarter of 2009. The company reported non-GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter of $0.83, which excludes $0.09 of restructuring charges and merger-related expenses. Second-quarter GAAP EPS was $0.74.
