Kyphon Inc. Announces Investor And Analyst Meeting

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kyphon Inc. today announced that it will host an investor and analyst meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2006. The formal portion of the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time (10:00 p.m. Eastern Time) and will take place at the Westin Seattle, 1900 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, Washington.

Hosted by Kyphon management, this meeting will include presentations and interactive discussion with leading spine specialists who will discuss their experiences with Balloon Kyphoplasty and Kyphon's new Functional Anaesthetic Discography (F.A.D.) procedure for diagnosing axial low back pain due to disc degeneration. The multidisciplinary panel will feature orthopaedic spine surgeon Dr. Harvinder Sandhu, from the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and interventional neuroradiologist Dr. Wayne Olan, from Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.
