Iverson Genetic Diagnostics Offers FDA Cleared Warfarin Test

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Inc. announced today that it offers physicians and their patients two types of molecular-based assays for testing warfarin (brand name, Coumadin) sensitivity. One has received Food and Drug Administration clearance and genetically tests a patient’s blood for this sensitivity, with results returned in 2-5 days. The second assay tests a sample of the patient’s saliva and requires only one to two days before test results are made available.
