DOV Pharmaceutical Announces Third Quarter Results

SOMERSET, NJ--(Marketwire - November 07, 2007) - DOV Pharmaceutical, Inc. ("DOV", or the "Company") (OTCBB: DOVP) (PINKSHEETS: DOVP) announced today results for the third quarter ending September 30, 2007. Third Quarter 2007 Performance For the third quarter of 2007, the Company reported a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $3.8 million, or $0.03 per share, as compared with $17.5 million, or $0.68 per share, for the comparable period in 2006. For the nine months ended September 30, 2007, the Company reported a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $6.3 million, or $0.10 per share, compared with $58.4 million, or $2.42 per share, for the comparable period in 2006. At September 30, 2007, cash and cash equivalents and marketable securities totaled $10.6 million.
