Diamyd Medical AB Covers Social Security Contributions for Employee Stock Option Plans

STOCKHOLM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News: DIAMYD MEDICAL AB (STO:DIAM.B): In connection with the exercise of employee stock options in the plans 2007/2010 and 2008/2011, Diamyd Medical is issuing 155,352 new shares of series B to cover social security contributions for the plans. The shares are issued with support of underlying warrants that covers the company's obligations within the scope of the programs.
