CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Biologics, an integrated oncology services company, is pleased to announce that its Patient Access Services team was able to secure over $7 million in copay assistance for patients in first quarter, 2013. One in five of Biologics’ Oncology Pharmacy patients require copay assistance, with the average copay amount being $612 across all patients. Depending on the insurance plan, copays ranged from $285 to $1,588 per dispense. For those paying cash, patient responsibility averaged $4,900 per dispense.
