Vetter Initiates Reconstruction Activity at its Recently Purchased Des Plaines Site

Interior renovation work of main office building scheduled for completion in February 2018

Des Plaines and Ravensburg, December 11, 2017: Vetter, a global leader in prefilled drug-delivery systems announced today that initial reconstruction work on the 18 acres Des Plaines site purchased earlier this year is scheduled to begin this month. Formally occupied by the Salvation Army, the site is located at the corner of Mount Prospect and Algonquin Roads. Renovations will be limited to the main, five-story office building, and will include reconfiguration of offices and utilities upgrades to allow for reuse of the existing office space. Also included are exterior upgrades involving repairs of existing masonry retaining walls, concrete stairs, and outdoor lighting, gate replacement at the Algonquin Road entrance, demolition of the existing gate house, and maintenance of the park and trees. The renovation work, scheduled for completion in February 2018, will not involve any other buildings on the site. Vetter’s US Key Account Management, Human Resources and Legal departments will occupy the site beginning in March.
