The Centient Biotech 200 was 16 points higher at 3733.77, a rise of .43%. Repligen moved up on much higher earnings, Nymox gained on expanded patent protection, Zars won FDA approval for an anesthesia patch, Schering and AstraZeneca will establish an anti-inflammatory collaboration, Wyeth received FDA approval for a new birth-control pill, Biota set damages in its suit against GlaxoSmithKline, the Chinese pharma Sinovac won Chinese approval for a flu vaccine, and UCB said Cimzia produced positive data against Crohn's disease.
