As part of the £4.5 million (U.S. $7.3 million), eleven project initiative, this specific project will fund a consortium of five industrial and academic partners led by Unilever PLC (NYSE: UL). During the three year program of research, AmpliPhi Biosciences will exploit novel genomic information to develop next generation, specific, natural antimicrobials for use in the personal care industry.
