American College of Cardiology Statement Regarding Staff Leadership Change

BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective November 30, 2005, Christine W. McEntee is no longer chief executive officer of the American College of Cardiology. The College greatly appreciates her contributions and her service over the past seven and one half years.

The College has initiated a nationwide search for a new chief staff officer. In the meantime, Tom Arend, J.D., who is the general counsel for the College, will serve as interim chief staff officer. The College has a strong member leadership team in place working in collaboration with a strong staff leadership team to continue to provide high-quality services to this member- driven organization.
