RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTI) today reported financial results for its third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2007. For the quarter, the company reported a substantial increase in revenues to a record $3.37 million, up from $0.75 million for the comparable period in 2006. The net loss was $6.13 million, or 9 cents per share, compared to a net loss of $4.05 million, or 7 cents per share, for the third quarter of 2006. The basic and diluted weighted average shares outstanding for the quarter were 70,023,935 compared to 59,461,244 for the same period a year ago.
