On October 9th and 10th, AIT Bioscience employees had the opportunity to attend and present at the 14th Annual Indiana Life Sciences Summit in downtown Indianapolis. This summit is presented by BioCrossroads and highlights and celebrates innovations in life sciences from Indiana and around the world through both business and scientific tracks.
This year’s scientific track focused on immunology and immuno-therapeutics including immuno-oncology. Speakers hailed from area companies and our own CEO, Terri Pascarelli moderated a panel on Immuno-Therapeutics and expanding scientific opportunities within that field. The panel featured Dan Wierda, Ph.D. (President of Wierda Toxicology and Director of Research and Development for Xeno Diagnostics), Ronald Bowsher, Ph.D. (Founder of B2S Life Sciences), and Ian Thompson, Ph.D. (Senior Research Advisor, Elanco Animal Health).
The scientific track also featured a full-day poster session where AIT Bioscience researchers presented their findings in small molecule bioanalysis and innovations surrounding our electronic laboratory notebook. Jessica White and April Pisek presented “Electronic Laboratory Notebook as a tool to Facilitate Scientific Data Analysis and Review in Regulated and Non-Regulated Bioanalysis”, Brad King presented “Development of an LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical Method in Plasma for Cocaine, Benzoylecgonine and Ecgonine Methyl Ester” and Toby Magers presented “Development of a LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical Method for Midazolam and 1-OH Midazolam.” Visit our website to download all the posters presented at this event posters, click here.
Special thanks to BioCrossroads and all the event sponsors for putting on a successful Life Sciences Summit!
