PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affymax, Inc. (Nasdaq:AFFY) today announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. The net loss for the third quarter of 2007 was $12.7 million, compared to a net loss of $6.4 million for the third quarter of 2006. The net loss for the first nine months of 2007 was $29.1 million compared to a net loss of $41.3 million for the first nine months of 2006.
