As a strategic advisor specializing in biologics, drugs, devices and protocol due diligence, Dr. Oliver brings more than 28 years of global clinical research experience to Advanced Clinical’s strategic advisory team. Currently Dr. Oliver, otherwise known as Jamie, is President and CEO of Trinity Drug Partners, LLC (http://www.trinitydrugpartners.com). He has an established background in bringing Investigational New Drugs (INDs) as well as Biological License Agreements (BLAs) to market. During his career, Dr. Oliver has participated in face to face meetings with nearly every review division in the FDA’s Office of New Drugs. In addition to extensive FDA experience and global regulatory strategy work with U.S., Asia-Pacific and European companies, Dr. Oliver has participated in licensing collaboration negotiations with immunology and cancer-based therapeutics. Dr. Oliver has also performed numerous medical reviews of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications, statistical/data analysis plans, clinical study report write-ups, integrated summaries of safety and efficacy, as well as clinical research associate training.

Dr. Oliver has held leadership positions at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals and Maret Pharmaceutical and Ockham Development Group, most recently as Chief Operating Officer/Head of Development and Chief Science Officer-President. In these roles, Jamie’s responsibilities included providing scientific oversight of all phases of clinical trial management including protocol development, study initiation, active research, database closure, medical monitoring and regulatory submissions document review. Additionally, Dr. Oliver was in charge of interfacing with regulatory agencies during the drug development process.
Dr. Oliver has a Pharm.D. and a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy, both from Mercer University School of Pharmacy (Atlanta, GA). He held academic appointments at the Mercer University School of Pharmacy, Emory University, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy.
