ADHD Genes Found, Known To Play Roles In Neurodevelopment, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Study

PHILADELPHIA, June 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pediatric researchershave identified hundreds of gene variations that occur more frequently inchildren with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) than inchildren without ADHD. Many of those genes were already known to beimportant for learning, behavior, brain function and neurodevelopment, buthad not been previously associated with ADHD.
