In this new role, Barry will be responsible for managing a large and growing list of Acuo alliance and channel partners.

Barry has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and strategic planning in the healthcare IT industry, including new business development through strategic visioning and alliance partnering. He’s enjoyed success in healthcare institutions and technology organizations, public and privately held.
Prior to joining Acuo Technologies, Barry served as vice president of business development at Virtual Radiologic Corporation, a national radiology practice. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Amicas, Inc., helping grow the company through various leadership roles in business development, OEM distribution, marketing and strategy. Barry participated in Amicas’ acquisition of Emageon in 2008 and in the company’s ultimate sale to Merge Healthcare in 2010. Throughout his career, he was responsible for establishing a number of major marketing and distribution partnerships with Epic Systems, Cerner Corporation, Dell, EMC and other companies. Barry began his career at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1991. He holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA.
