The luncheon, presented by Ryan LLC. and hosted by ACHIEVE, presents the opportunity for area business leaders and sports enthusiasts to network over lunch on Wednesday, March 20th. Shaquem Griffin, a leading linebacker who shares the field with his twin brother, is the first amputee to play on a professional football team. Guests will hear an engaging conversation with Shaquem during lunch facilitated by local sports announcer, Mike Doocy. Mr. Griffin will share his inspiring story of how he overcame challenges to become the 2016 American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a fifth round pick during the 2018 draft. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit ACHIEVE, a non-profit organization that serves adults with disabilities to provide vocational training and placement.
