Abiomed Teams With Bay State Schools To Get Veterans Medtech Jobs

Abiomed isn’t the only one hiring, others are hiring too! Check it out! (Isn’t it tempting?)

Device makers are joining forces with Massachusetts’ higher education to help military veterans get their foot in the door with a career in medtech. Medical device maker Abiomed (NSDQ:ABMD) is joining forces with Salem State University and North Shore Community College to hold the Boston area’s 1st Student Veteran Re-careering Seminar on June 17, providing career-training and 1-on-1 mentoring opportunities for student service members, veterans and graduates. “The medical technology industry continues to be one of the fastest-growing fields in the nation, offering tremendous opportunities for our returning military veterans to achieve meaningful and successful careers,” Abiomed chairman, president & CEO Michael Minogue, who is a veteran of Desert Storm, said in prepared remarks.

Don’t forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can’t resist.)
