DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Abiomed, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABMD) today announced that it has priced its offering of common stock at $13.75 per share. The offering consists of 5,000,000 shares of common stock, all of which are being sold by Abiomed. The net proceeds to Abiomed from the offering are expected to be approximately $63.6 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. The underwriters have been granted an option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of Abiomed’s common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
