BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (June 21, 2011) – Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions, a leading provider of scientific information and analytics to professionals in the pharmaceutical and biotech fields, today announced the joint appointments of Bob Jansen and Michelle Woker as Co-Presidents of its healthcare analytics business. Both leaders were promoted from within the company and were selected for their deep and varied experience in the pharmaceutical industry and the pharma information space.
Both leaders report directly to Bob Becker, President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Health & Pharma Solutions, a division of Wolters Kluwer and the parent company of Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions. In his new role, Bob Jansen will serve as President & Chief Commercial Officer, Healthcare Analytics, and is responsible for all client and market facing functions. Michelle Woker was named President & Chief Operating Officer, Healthcare Analytics, and will handle all technology, delivery and operations functions.

A 20-year year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, most recently, Jansen had been Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, for Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions’ healthcare analytics business since 2007. In this role, he led the sales, service and consulting organizations. Prior to coming to Wolters Kluwer, he was with Medpointe Pharmaceuticals where he served as Director of Commercial Operations and Director of Marketing for the company’s allergy franchise. He also made many significant contributions as a leader in the managed markets sales and contracting areas at a number of other pharmaceutical companies, including Forest, Watson and Elan. Jansen is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the Foundation for Medical Excellence, and a graduate of the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon.
Michelle Woker has been with the Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions healthcare analytics business for a total of 17 years. Most recently, as Senior Vice President, Operations, she ran the data intake, aggregation and delivery operations environments as well as business support functions for product development. Previously, she worked at Amgen, where she was a regional health system sales director, and also held roles in strategic planning, business operations and information management. Woker is a member of the Life Office Management Association and a Certified Medical Representative (CMR). She is a graduate of Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois.
