With a pair of oversize scissors and a ribbon long enough to be held aloft by a long line of dignitaries, Winston-Salem Mayor Allen Joines and Dr. Richard Dean, president of Wake Forest University Health Sciences, cut the ribbon on the new Biotechnology Research Facility 1 at the Piedmont Triad Research Park this morning.
