Dr. Mario has 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Mario is a former Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive of Glaxo Holdings plc, a former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ALZA Corporation prior to the sale to Johnson & Johnson and was Chairman and Chief Executive of Reliant Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
