After all, even though biotech managed to notch a small net gain, the trading week was inaugurated by a precipitous sell-off (more than a 2% drop) that may have induced a lingering wariness on the part of investors. As a result, the underlying theme last week seemed to be caution. For the record, the Centient Biotech 200 recorded a .64% rise (21 points) during the four-session period.
