PHOENIX, /PRNewswire/ -- Adaptation Health is calling for earlier-stage, healthcare entrepreneurs (both for-profit and non-profit) and innovators nationwide to present their ideas for the Medicaid Innovation Challenge. Eligible applicants will be invited to present to Arizona’s seven managed care organizations (MCOs) as well as the Arizona Medicaid agency. Selected companies will present their products, value propositions and business models that address solutions in Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and Digital Member Engagement, which may lead to opportunities to enter a procurement process and commercial contracts. This exclusive opportunity will be extended to several top-qualifying companies in each area of focus. Solutions will be presented to the key buyers and decision-makers in Arizona. The following MCOs are participating:
The Challenge is designed for market-ready innovations that can help the Arizona Medicaid system address its needs through creative solutions, and support better health outcomes for beneficiaries. Through a collaborative process, state policymakers and the participating MCOs identified two high-priority solutions of interest for the Challenge: 1) improving SDOH risk identification and facilitating enrollee connections to services, and 2) digital engagement technologies to assist individuals in better managing their care. Interested in applying? Applications are open, and there is no fee to apply. In late February, a committee of Medicaid experts will select the finalists to present their solutions. The event will also be live streamed and registration is open. The Medicaid Innovation Challenge culminates on March 29, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona.
