The ARROW VPS G4 Device is used in conjunction with the disposable ARROW® VPS® Stylet. Using a combination of advanced technologies, the new ARROW VPS G4 Vascular Positioning System allows a clinician to accurately and precisely place a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) or central venous catheter (CVC) in the optimal spot in the superior vena cava, based on the Infusion Nursing Society (INS) guidelines. PICCs and CVCs are used to deliver vital therapeutics to critically ill patients. The technology is designed to avoid clinical consequences such as thrombosis, arterial puncture and vessel wall damage.
