NEW YORK, May 18 (Reuters) - Takeda Pharmaceutical Co Ltd's experimental heartburn drug has proven more effective in healing inflammation of the esophagus than Prevacid, a blockbuster older drug sold by the Japanese drugmaker, researchers said on Sunday.
