(NYSE:SMA), a leading global source of innovative medical device solutions, including surgical instruments, orthopedic implants, and sterilization cases and trays, announced today that its subsidiary, Symmetry Surgical, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with AMT Electrosurgery Inc. (AMT) in Canada. Under terms of the agreement, AMT will be the exclusive Canadian distributor of Symmetry Surgical’s comprehensive portfolio of surgical medical devices, which includes all brands and products formerly part of Codman Surgical Instruments and SSi.
