GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Span-America Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPAN) today reported its results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended October 3, 2009. The company reported fourth quarter 2009 sales of $14.8 million and net income of $1.6 million, or $0.57 per diluted share. Sales for fiscal year 2009 were $55.9 million, and net income was $4.7 million, or $1.67 per diluted share.
